Our Story

Decades of passion for food and travel led Marc and Angela to create this restaurant to share their passion for life and food. But why "Bit of Grub"? A long, long time ago in a country far, far away, the owners sat down in a small pub in Ireland for dinner. After hours flying and driving they were tired and wanted food and a bed. The bartender walked up to the table and asked "Ya ha a bi uh gru?" or something like that it seemed at the time. Angela looked at Marc confused like they accidentally arrived on an alien planet. Marc told the bartender, "Yes" and when he left explained to Angela that he asked her if she would "Have a bit of grub?". Exhausted, they both collapsed into laughter and a great meal. Years later, when thinking of a name for the restaurant, this story came back to mind and it was really not even a discussion on what it would be called. Marc and Angela hope you truly enjoy the vibe, the food and the service they've worked for years to perfect.
